Replace heavy, soggy swamp mats, CLT’s, and other wood access and temporary roadway mats for good. Solid, 2” thick TuffTrak XL access mats are ideal solutions to create extra-wide temporary access roadways.

TuffTrak XL ground protection mats are 13’6” x 6’8” and are designed to support wheeled and tracked equipment up to 150 tons. The 2” thick solid core mats are flexible and will conform to the ground when loaded yet are strong enough not to crack, break or fail.

Installation is fast and easy. Butt the single-piece constructed mats up to one another or for uneven or sloped terrain connect them using the spring steel connector system.

TuffTrak XL Access Mats work in all weather conditions to keep the job running. Engineered HWM polyethylene material will not rot, splinter, degrade or absorb water or contaminates, eliminating the threat of cross-site contamination.

Inert Material

TuffTrak XL Mats will not leach chemicals into or from the surrounding ground. In the event fuel or other contaminants are spilled onto the mats, they can be cleaned and ready to go to another site.

Highly Versatile

TuffTrak XL Mats can handle everything from a wheelbarrow to a large tracked vehicle. Mat surfaces have a friction enhancing pattern that gives small and large vehicles the traction they need in all types of conditions.

Transportation Savings

Only a small number of heavy wood or steel access mats can be transported on one semi-truck. For the same area coverage, TuffTrak XL Mats require fewer than half the trucks needed to install wood or steel mats.

Deployment

TuffTrak XL mats are typically deployed by butting end to end. If needed on undulating or sloped terrain, they can be linked together using available connectors. Connecting mats keeps them in place and helps prevent mud seepage.

We’re using your ground protection mats on our first project. They’re easier to move with the hands-hooks, no strain. Before it took a lot of effort moving plywood, as a lot of the time it was water soaked.

The mats stayed in place and don’t fall apart like plywood. The white mats do seem to help with keeping the heat down under the mats. I am not sure how many thousands of dollars we spent on plywood, but the mats have paid for themselves already!

The guys love your mats. They sure do help out when they need to get off the road and not have to worry about getting stuck.

It has been a very wet March with the snow melting and the rain setting in. With these ground protection mats we are doing things that we would definitely not be doing without them this time of year. Money well spent!

Your mats will be shipped as freight and require a forklift to unload. If a forklift is not available a lift gate can be pre-ordered for an additional fee.
