PYRAMID LOCK INTERLOCKING CRIBBING BLOCKS

Heavy Duty Pyramid Lock Interlocking Cribbing Blocks’ combination of variable height, interlocking stackability and compatibility with SafetyTech® Outrigger Pads gives operators the safety, stability, and versatility needed when you need to crib up.

Interlocking constructions blocks integrate with DICA’s SafetyTech Outrigger pads to increase bearing area and decrease ground bearing pressures.

STANDARD SETUP

ProStack Pyramid Lock Cribbing Blocks with interlocking grip on both the top and bottom.

STEP 1

Position the base pad, ensuring the pad is level, stable and in full contact with the ground.

STEP 2

Position the first layer of cribbing blocks onto the base pad so that they lock into place.

STEP 3

Cross-stack additional layers of Pyramid Lock Cribbing Blocks to achieve your desired height.

STEP 4

You can add an optional Neoprene grip pad to increase friction between ProStack Cribbing Blocks and outriggers to help prevent sliding.

FLAT BOTTOM SETUP

Flat Bottom ProStack Slot Lock Cribbing Blocks with an interlocking flange on the top side.

STEP 1

Pyramid Lock blocks can be placed directly onto flat, compacted and level ground. They do not require a base outirgger pad.

STEP 2

Cross-stack additional layers of Pyramid Lock Cribbing Blocks to achieve your desired height.

STEP 3

You can add an optional Neoprene grip pad to increase friction between ProStack Cribbing Blocks and outriggers to help prevent sliding.

Heavy Duty ProStack Cribbing Blocks are designed for equipment with outrigger floats that do not exceed 24” x 24” and outrigger loads that do not exceed 110,000 pounds. Medium Duty ProStack Cribbing Blocks are designed for equipment with outrigger floats that do not exceed 12”x12” and outrigger loads that do not exceed 55,000 lbs. ProStack cribbing blocks can be used for industrial applications as well. Contact us to determine if Medium or Heavy Duty is the right choice for your equipment.

ProStack Plastic Cribbing Blocks are constructed of recycled engineered thermoplastic materials. Because of their reliable molecular, strength and stiffness properties they deliver quantifiable and consist results. ProStack cribbing is virtually impervious to absorption, and they are guaranteed against splintering, cracking and breaking. Wood is a natural material that begins to decay the moment it is cut. Because wood is wood is porous and is subject to the environment, including insects and dry rot wood fibers will splinter crack and break and can have large variations of strength, stiffness, and reliability under pressure.

Yes. However, a best practice use the ProStack Grip Pad as your top layer of the cribbing stack. It protects the interlocking surface of the blocks and safely provides grip for your outrigger foot.

Yes, we offer base outrigger pads with a matching interlocking pattern manufactured into the surface. Pyramid Interlock blocks can also be used by themselves (no pad), or with a standard SafetyTech pad (no interlocking pattern).

Not at this time. However, we can engrave a company name or logo on the surface of the base SafetyTech Outrigger Pad.

Yes, they are impervious to water and resistant to chemicals commonly found on construction sites, parking areas and roads. Please contact us if you are concerned about a particular chemical.

Pyramid Lock Cribbing blocks are flammable, but not combustible. Avoid using near open flames.

Yes, we would recommend placing a 24”x24” ProStack neoprene grip pad between the top of your current pad and the bottom of the ProStack Cribbing Blocks. That will provide full contact between the cribbing and SafetyTech Outrigger Pad as well as protecting the Pyramids and improving friction between the two different products. The size of the pad is important. For Medium duty blocks, the pad needs to be at least 24’x24”. For Heavy Duty cribbing blocks, the outrigger pad size needs to be at least 36”.
