Southwest Industrial Rigging Operating on FiberMax Cranes Pads
Southwest Industrial Rigging recorded a lift in June 2014 using several equipment mounted cameras. The lift was done using their new 450 ton Tadano and 8x8x8 DICA FiberMax crane pads purchased at the 2014 Conexpo tradeshow. The object being lifted was SWIR’s Kobleco 250 ton crawler cab, which was being moved into position on a job site, 70 feet below it’s original street level position.
The entire lift is exciting to watch and does a great job demonstrating the skill and coordination of the entire SWIR team. You’re also able to see several good shots of their Mega Duty FiberMax Crane Pads in action, especially from the boom tip mounted camera towards the end of the video.
Special thanks to Southwest Industrial Rigging for sharing this fantastic video.
